Tobacco Shed Conversion
The disused tobacco sheds in north-east Victoria are solidly built, substantial buildings. Our client owned a shed some 60m long and wanted to convert part of it into a two bedroom home. The outside was left untouched. Internally, the space was insulated, lined and double glazed windows installed. The existing hardwood floor was refinished and came up beautifully. A playful feature of coloured acrylic panels was added to some walls.
